Neeraj is an experienced public health physician who has worked extensively within the public and private health sectors. Throughout his career, Neeraj has worked with a broad range of institutions, including WHO, DFID, NIH, the Global Fund, and Merck & Co.
As Managing Director of the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases at the Sabin Vaccine Institute, Neeraj Mistry leveraged his 15+ years of public health experience to direct global initiatives that raised awareness, political will and funding for eliminating neglected tropical diseases. Neeraj was also a founding staffer for The Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria, a groundbreaking initiative mobilizing the business response to public health challenges, working across various industries including pharmaceutical and biotech, mining and extractives, media and entertainment, finance and commodities.
Neeraj received his medical training at the University of Witwaterstrand Medical School, South Africa, holds a Masters in health policy and economics from the London School of Economics and is currently reading for a Masters in Liberal Arts at John Hopkins. Neeraj lives in Washington DC, US.
